Amy Gottheimer, LCSW

About me

I began my foray into social services working with individuals and families at a shelter for survivors of Intimate Partner Violence in Albuquerque, NM. Seeing the incredible resiliency of the people at the shelter drove me to pursue a career in social work, and in 2008, I graduated with a Masters of Social Work degree from Columbia University. I then spent a decade working for a premier non-profit social service agency in NYC, creating new programs and models of service for the most vulnerable people in our community while mentoring the next generation of leaders.

Hope is the most influential motivator in our lives, and every success starts with a dream for something greater than our now. I want to help you achieve your dream, whether through therapy, supervision towards your LCSW, or assisting your agency reach a new potential.

I have worked with individuals dealing with issues of transition and challenges with immediate needs to access their hope and their inner strength.
